How to Tie a Silk Scarf: The Parisian Bandana

The Parisian Bandana

Step 1: Fold your square scarf in half diagonally.
Step 2: Hold the triangular portion in front of your chest and wrap the ends around your neck once.
Step 3: Tie the ends together in front over the triangle. 
Step 4: Wrap one end around your finger creating a loop and pull the other end through to create a neat knot. 

Et voilà.

*During my latest trip to Paris in May 2023, all the Parisian women (and men) were trying their scarves this way. Not only is it gorgeous but it’s also practical as it stops your scarf from slipping off while you’re walking around the city or riding the metro.
