Article: Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

After spending a week in a château with The Starling Club, I reunited with my husband and son in Antibes to spend a few memorable days together. One of those days was spent exploring the breathtaking Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. While the villa itself is gorgeous, the gardens and views are what took my breath away. I could have stayed much longer, but with a 12 year old in tow, we made it a shorter visit. However, we did stop for a delicious lunch at the Beatrice restaurant at the villa which was a helpful incentive for exploring the house and grounds.

Today is a bit of a heavy day. After six and a half years, my homeschooling journey with my son has come to an end. He started 7th grade at his new school. I have so much gratitude for the time we had together and so proud of how far he has come. I know he will flourish and soar in this new opportunity! I am also looking forward to having more time and bandwidth to devote to Fleur Sauvage. I have so many ideas and plans that I can't wait to implement!
Today was also the funeral for world renowned Parisian designer, Thierry Colson. I had the honor of meeting and spending a few days with Thierry while at The Starling Club retreat in Provence. To say I was nervous and intimidated would be an understatement, but one moment spent in Thierry's presence put me at ease. He was joy personified with an impish spirit full of kindness.

I will forever cherish the moments we shared exploring Provence, trying on his beautiful clothes, making big cheese faces, and laughing while wearing each other's designs.
Rest in peace dear Thierry.
